Summary Report of the 2023 Winter Warmth Coat Drive: The Longmont Rotary Winter Warmth Coat Drive completed its 32nd year hosting this annual event. This year's six week drive had 20 drop-off locations throughout the community. Club members maintain the bins, new coats were purchased and sorting events held to arrange and prepare for a distribution event held at the OUR Center. This year, at the December 3rd Distribution event, we served 131 families, providing new or gently used coats to identified clients and family. The Longmont Rotary Charity Fund provided funds to buy new coats and gift cards. This year we had very few coats left and those who still needed coats were accommodated through the gift cards that the club donated. It took 65+ Rotarians to make it happen this year. A big thank you to our club and the OUR Center for partnering with us. A BIG THANK YOU to our drop off sites, club members and friends for making year 32 a success!!
